Several landscape gardens were created in the 19C on the land next to the gardens of theGrand Palace. The largest is Alexandria Park, adjacent to the Peterhof's Lower Park, where you can see the Cottage, the private residence of Nicholas I. It boasts a fine collection of furniture and refined objects, but the main attraction here is the tsar's maritime office affording a splendid view of the Gulf of Finland.
