Description
This impressive yet austere structure was begun in the 13C and extended over the following centuries. The façade overlooking the square is adorned with a majestic staircase that leads to the pulpit, from which fire and brimstone was preached. On the Corso Vannucci side is an attractive 14C doorway. Inside, the vaults and walls are decorated with frescoes relating Biblical scenes and legends.
