Description
The Transarc cable-car (from Arc 1800) passes over the Grand Renard pass and arrives at the base of Grive peak (2,600m/8,530ft) commanding a view over the Aiguille-Rouge, Mont Pourri, the Aiguille du Saint-Esprit, Tignes' Grande Motte and the majestic rocky barrier of Bellecôte, without forgetting the Mont Blanc and Beaufortain ranges. Steep paths (experienced hikers only) lead up to the summit at 2,732m/8,963ft, offering exceptional views over the Vanoise region.
