Description

The Tweeddale Museum (Institution Chambers on the first floor) is a little local museum with temporary exhibitions throughout the year. The secret chamber contains stucco friezes on historical themes including a version of the Triumph of Alexander completed by Danish sculptor B Thorvaldsen (19C), who was famous for his restoration of Greek works of art.
