Description
Painstakingly cut from chestnut wood, 180 000 slats of wood have been used to create the attractive roof of this building, used as a pavilion at the 1931 Colonial Exhibition. Inside, admire the 9m-high monumental statue of Buddha, covered in gold leaf.
