Description
It was in this apartment that Henrik Ibsen (1828-1906), Norway's most famous playwright, spent the last 11 years of his life and wrote his last two works. In Oslo, they say that all Norwegian quotations are taken from only three sources - the Bible, folklore and the works of Ibsen. Learning more about Ibsen is therefore a good way to gain a better understanding of Norway.
