Description
Running from the Royal Palace to the main railway station, Karl Johans Gate is the most famous and busiest thoroughfare in Oslo. Pedestrianised along the section closest to the station, the avenue is lined with shops and cafés, as are the small streets nearby. Crowds of passers-by, tourists, musicians and street hawkers add to the bustling atmosphere.
