Useful information

Description

Built in 1969 and later extended, the museum is the brainchild of Arthur Erickson, a major Canadian architect inspired by Le Corbusier. It displays the works of the Painters Eleven, founded in 1953 in Toronto and mainly composed of abstract artists. Regularly changing exhibitions are devoted to contemporary Canadian art.
