Description
The Museum of Fine Arts boasts an amazingly diverse public collection, rich in European paintings, sculpture and objets d'art from the 16C to the 21C. Its collection of 18C portraits and exceptional Cabinet des Pastels that exhibits works by Chardin are particularly worthy of note. The modern art holdings include works by Rodin, Maillol, Bourdelle... Restoration was begun in 2016 and will be ending in 2020 with an entirely new scenography.
