Description
In a fine neo-Classical building, the Museum of the History of the Ancient Olympic Games has a collection of objects illustrating themes connected to the Olympic movement from its earliest days. Particularly worthy of your attention is a fine vase decorated with black figures depicting Heracles fighting the centaurs and a remarkable Roman mosaic (2-3C BC) representing a series of athletic events.
