Description
The fortified walls of Nitra Castle dominating the city protected the religious centre after the bishops became masters of the town for five centuries. St-Emmeram Cathedral, seat of the bishopric, is composed of three splendid churches, and the bishop's palace is a testimony to its glorious history.
