Description

Clinging to the mountainside overlooking the lovely Zeta Valley, the extraordinary Manastir Ostrog attracts hordes of visitors and pilgrims every year. Its white façade contrasts with the reddish hues of the rock, creating a striking vision. Founded in the 17C by St Basil, the monastery houses his relics. This remarkable site is well worth a visit, despite the potholes in the road.
