Description

Piazza Garibaldi, the heart of Nicosia, has a particularly delightful ambience in the evening when the cathedral and surrounding palazzi are bathed in soft light. Note the Palazzo di Città (19C), with its inner courtyard adorned with a wrought-iron lamp. The square is also overlooked by one of the façades of San Nicolo cathedral.
