Description
The snow-capped cone of Mt Egmont (or Mt Taranaki) overlooks the national park of the same name. It attracts experienced skiers, hikers and mountain-climbers, but also less serious athletes in its foothills, making it very popular with the inhabitants of New Plymouth.
