Description
The New Orleans Museum of Art houses a permanent collection encompassing the major European and American schools of painting, including an impressive ensemble of Louisiana and African-American artists. Also worthy of note are a splendid collection of French 18C and Impressionist artists (Degas and Renoir), stunning silverware and antique glass, a fascinating assortment of portrait miniatures, Japanese Edo-period paintings and creations by Russian jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé.
