Description
Built by the immensely rich Du Peyrou, a friend of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, this private mansion has great unity of style and leads to an adjoining garden. In the centre of the lake, there is a statue by A. Ramseyer, La Baigneuse. The north courtyard houses history galleries that display seven scale models depicting the urban development of Neuchâtel from 1000 to 2000, together with works of art related to the town.
