Description
These gigantic sand dunes undulate over 32km along Stockton Beach, in New South Wales. But this natural treasure is hard to access for tourists who want to get about under their own steam. The simplest way is to use one of the companies set up in the car park at Anna Bay, which offer sandboarding for whizzing down the slopes, or quad or 4x4 drives to see Tin City, a hamlet that was used as a location during filming of Mad Max. The last option: on the back of a dromedary!
