Description
In 1916, a catastrophic fire destroyed more than 650 buildings in the eastern part of Nashville. A few vestiges of the historic downtown area remain along Printer's Alley and in the glass-roofed 1903 Arcade (between 4th & 5th Avenues), which now houses boutiques and restaurants.
