Useful information

Description

The Archbishops' Palace, with the cathedral, forms a religious, civil and military edifice that has been extended over the centuries. It is composed of three square towers (a keep by Gilles-Aycelin), the Palais Vieux and the Palais Neuf. Art features prominently in both palaces (pharmaceutical jars, earthenware from Montpellier, Moustiers, Marseille, 18C-19C Flemish, Italian and French art and Orientalist paintings from the 19C-20C), together with an archaeological visit.
