Muong Muom is inhabited by the Black Thai ethnic group. As you stroll through the village, you'll be able to see some of this minority group's traditions. Small installations on the riverbank supply electricity and water to the houses on stilts. Daily life takes place mostly on the terraces in front of the houses, which are strewn with numerous objects, such as the woven baskets which are typical of the village.
