This itinerary to the north of Sanok reveals more Greek-Catholic wooden churches. It follows the River San towards Mrzygłód. The most typical churches are to the north of this little town, in the villages of Hlomcza, Łodzina, Dobra Szlachecka and Ulucz. It is unquestionably Ulucz that boasts the jewel in the region's crown. The Church of the Ascension (1510) is the oldest Eastern-type wooden church in Poland.
