At N° 1 Prechistenka Street note the white palace of Prechistenka, typical of late-17C Moscow, and Famitsyne Palace at N° 3. Both buildings are depicted by a ground-floor for servants, with the first floor set aside for the owners. They are also a reminder that this road laid out in the 16C between the "white city" and Novodevichy Convent was known for its aristocratic residences. It miraculously survived the destructive urban planning of the Soviet era.
