Description

In a bend of the River Moskova, this immense estate, once the site of a fabulous wooden palace, has become a popular excursion destination, and also a museum of Russian architecture, thanks to the superb churches in its grounds and the transfer of several wooden buildings from other parts of the country. Don't miss the Church of Our Lady of Kazan, the museum partially devoted to the site or the Cathedral of the Ascension.
