Description
If you want to know what is meant by the "Neo-Russian" style, take a close look at the Igumnov House, an unbelievable palace featuring a a ceramic décor, friezes, festoons and "chubby" columns. Nothing was spared by architect Nikolay Pozdneyev to satisfy the tastes of the rich merchant who commissioned the building for this ultra-Slavic medieval style.
