Description
Excavations revealed the foundations of a luxurious Gallo-Roman Villa from the 4C and two remarkably well-preserved structures: over 600m² of fine quality mosaics from the so-called Aquitaine School, and the very legible foundations of the thermal baths, which covered some 500m² in the 5C, the largest known in a private residence. Since 2018, the site has been protected by a modern architectural structure that lets the light flood in whilst protecting the thirty or so sets of mosaics.
