Founded in 1921, the McCord Museum provides a fascinating insight into Canadian history, from the era of the First Nations to the present day. In addition to more than 140 000 artefacts, the museum boasts an outstanding compilation of over 1 300 000 photos that chronicle Canadian life in the 19C and 20C, including the massive Notman Photographic Archives.
