Description
This museum turns the spotlight on the illustrious past of Montéchéroux. The village has been involved in ironwork since the 16C, and found its fortune in 1790 when it began to specialise in the production of watch-making tools. Later, it also supplied dentists, electricians, cobblers and other trades. In the museum, you can therefore see pliers, from the most common to the most odd, as well as a reconstructed - and working - forge.
