Description
This neo-Romanesque-style cathedral houses some beautiful early paintings from Nice. The great Saint-Nicolas altarpiece, with its 18 brightly coloured compartments, is the work of Louis Bréa (16C), and is similar to the Pietà du curé Teste altarpiece. The church houses an interesting marble altar adorned with a mosaic and copper and, in the chapel, an elegant Renaissance altar from the Spanish school.
