Description

The listed Art Deco building (1930) is named after New York entrepreneur and philanthropist John Bass, who donated his art collection to the City of Miami Beach. In addition to the permanent holdings, presented in rotation, the Bass Museum of Art organises temporary exhibitions showcasing renowned artists. Its mission is to broaden the interpretation of contemporary art by incorporating other current disciplines, such as design, fashion and architecture.
