Description
Anhinga Trail is one of the most popular spots of the Everglades. A wide, tarmacked stretch of road has replaced the wooden promenade across Taylor Slough. This shallow backwater runs slowly through the marshes, dotted with the occasional clump of palm and willow trees. Birds, alligators and turtles inhabit the region, particularly during the dry winter months. Sign up for an observation walk in the company of the forest guards.
