Description
Opened in 1861, this Melbourne museum is one of the oldest and largest of Australia. Housed in a building recognised as a masterpiece of modernism, the NGV houses one of the richest collections of international art in the world, expertly displayed thanks to a super-modern layout. The galleries showcase European Impressionist masters side by side top names of Cubist and Pop art. Fine collections of 19C Baroque and English art.
