Description
This national park has an area of 310km2, with forest making up two thirds, lakes 12% and wetlands 8%. The park is a paradise for hikers and cyclists. Bird watchers with binoculars can get a glimpse of the rare osprey and the sea eagle, Germany's heraldic bird. You will also encounter black and white storks and cranes. A guided nature walk will let you make the most of the region's wealth of fauna and flora.
