Description
Leaving the souks on the north side, you will reach Ben Youssef Square, which is bordered by a number of remarkable monuments, some of which have been restored under the aegis of the Omar Benjelloun Foundation. In the wake of the renovation of Dar Menebhi, now home to the Museum of Marrakech, the Ben Youssef madrasah and the Almoravid qubba have been restored. Right next door, Dar Bellarj is a handsome old house, restored by the Foundation of Moroccan Culture.
