Description
Marbella's old town has retained several elegant and refined residences: the house of the wealthy Enrique Grivegnée; that of Ferdinand de Lesseps (1805-94), the engineer who built the Suez Canal and provoked the Panama Scandal (Lesseps was Andalucian on his mother Catherine de Grivegnée's side); as well as the imposing 16C Casona de los Cano Saldaña.
