Description
The gulf of Policastro, which fits around the Tyrrhenian Sea between Punta degli Infreschi and Capo Scalea, is striking for the intensity of its colours. The sheer cliffs of the black rocky coastline covered with bright green vegetation plunge into the indigo-blue sea, indented with superb creeks and the multitude of caves, both on land and underwater. Stop off in Maratea to take in a superb panoramic view from Monte Biagio.
