Useful information

Description

This futuristic-looking cultural centre, opened in 2000 by Queen Elizabeth II, has greatly contributed to the regeneration of Salford. It has two theatres, a concert hall and an art gallery, which holds temporary exhibitions. A permanent exhibition of work by LS Lowry (1887-1976) has deservedly been given pride of place.
