Description
This steep thoroughfare was used in the Middle ages by the chariots on their way to Auvergne. When you see the steepness of the hill you will see that it must have been extremely hard work for the horses. This thoroughfare also joined the cloister of Saint-Jean of the canon-counts (cloître Saint-Jean des chanoines-comtes), with Saint-Just, the fortified town of the canon-barons,
