Description
Built between 1811 and 1813, the fine brick vault and metal structure of the Skin Floor make this an interesting building. In 1990, a shopping centre was built here with the intention of creating a Covent Garden-style building in East London, but the idea never really worked and the building remains largely unoccupied. The site waits for new ideas to be put forward and new investors to take them on.
