Useful information

Description

This rustic 12C church in pink brick has been remodelled on numerous occasions over the centuries, notably in 1528 on the initiative of Thomas More. Note the 17C altar and railings, the marble baptismal fonts (1673) and the liturgical works given to the church by Sir Hans Sloane. Nearby, a statue of a seated figure dressed in black celebrates Sir Thomas More.
