Description

The Royal Air Force Museum is an outpost of the Imperial War Museum and focuses on the history of aviation and the RAF. It occupies several hangars of Hendon Aerodrome, once an important British aviation centre, where Claude Grahame-White opened his flying school before the First World War. Delve into the history of aviation, in particular the Battle of Britain, and see aircraft from across the ages. Events are held here throughout the year.
