Useful information

Description

With origins dating back to the time of Edward the Confessor, this parish church is built in a predominantly Late Perpendicular Gothic style thanks to a radical restoration carried out by Gilbert Scott in the mid 19C. St Margaret's has long been the church for the House of Commons, and every year since 1614 Members of Parliament have congregated here for a Palm Sunday service.
