Description
Bankside Gallery opened in modern premises by the River Thames in 1980. It holds regularly changing exhibitions under the aegis of the Royal Society of Painters in Water Colours (founded in 1804) and the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers (founded in 1881).
