Useful information

Description

Designed by Canadian architect Raymond Moriyama, this unusual edifice is depicted by concrete barrel vaults that make maximum use of natural daylight, whilst protecting the works of art exhibited from undue exposure. The collections include Canadian art from the 18C to the present day, including works by portrait artist Paul Peel, who maintained a studio on Richmond Street. The historical section charts the history of the town of London.
