Description

Built in 1833 by John Shaw, this church dedicated to the patron saint of goldsmiths, jewellers and locksmiths was built to an octagonal plan with a high star-shaped vault. The north aisle houses a main altar panelled in the Flemish flamboyant style of the 17C, as well as an richly carved wooden rood screen.
