Useful information

Description

Dedicated in the 13C to Saint Vaast, a 6C bishop of Arras, this church was designed by Wren, but retains an earlier southwest wall which survived the Great Fire. The tower and surmounting spire are square. The interior was entirely rebuilt. Neatly aligned under a Wren ceiling, pews furnish the black and white marble floor. Note also the wooden altarpiece and the octagonal pulpit.
