Useful information

Description

Bombed during the Second World War, the Gothic tower is all that remains of this church, which was built by Wren in 1697 following the destruction of the original building in the Great Fire of 1666. The tower is endowed with tall narrow buttresses and a pinnacle balustrade with white gables that dominates the surrounding traffic-clogged streets.
