Useful information

Description

Loch Awe is 25mi/40km long. In pre-glacial times, the mouth of the loch was at Ford; now it runs into the River Awe and the Pass of Brander. It lies in the heart of the famous Scottish Campbell clan's land. From the road you will catch sight of the romantic ruins of Kilchurn Castle, standing on a spit of land.
