Useful information

Description

The National Slate Museum, established in a former factory built during the slate boom in the 1870s, is truly fascinating. Visitors can view different workshops (cutting, machining, blacksmith's), as well as the workers' canteen and an interactive presentation devoted to the extraction methods of slate (demonstrations at fixed times).
