Description
The Usher Gallery was funded from a legacy by James Ward Usher to house his collection of 16C and 19C miniatures, 17C and 18C French and English clocks and his porcelain. The gallery also boasts a remarkable coin collection, watercolours by Peter de Wint (1784-1849), who often painted views of the region, and paintings by local artists such as William Logsdail.
