Description
The renowned writer, poet and lexicographer Samuel Johnson (1709-84) was born in this house built by his father. The exhibition looks back over his life, his work, including his famous Dictionary, and his friendships, in particular with Erasmus Darwin, grandfather of the renowned naturalist.
